My open letter to the next generation
A clarion call to future generations

01
Beginning of an open letter
Dear future generations, I do not know where I will be by the time you read this page.
I could be talking to you in person. Or, my words alone may be with you. But only one thing is certain. The reason I am writing this letter is not to talk about myself.
The aim is to talk about you. I have had many dreams in my life: I accomplished some and I started a few. I leave some for the next generation.
No regrets about it. Because every generation has a responsibility. Not the end all, but laying an even higher foundation for the next generation.
That is what I tried to do. You do not need to remember me: but.
02
Bear the thought
Just remember these thoughts. Respect people. Don't give up on honesty. Never stop learning. Don't be afraid of failure.
Don't be fooled by success. Don't look for a position. Accept responsibility. Don't look for a job. Create opportunities. Don't just win the competition.
Protect your values too. May every company you create change a family's life. Let every technology you create make a human's life easier.
Let every decision you take be on the side of humanity. Someday, you must achieve greater feats than me.
I want to go beyond where I've been. I have to create solutions that I do not think of. The dreams I started, you must turn into even bigger movements. Only then, this journey will be meaningful.
SOZHAA may have started as one person's dream. But it should never belong to a person. It should belong to all who believe in human progress.
As you someday lead SOZHAA, let human progress guide every decision.
03
For future leaders
As a leader leading the sozhaa group, never forget just this one question. "Does this result really improve people's lives?" If the answer to that question is "yes", then go ahead.
If the answer is "no", think again. Because a company does not rise by its buildings. Rises by its values. A leader is not remembered for his power.
Remembered for his humanity. A life does not become great because of how long it is lived. It will become bigger because of how many people it lights up in their lives.
What I want to leave you is not assets: thoughts, Not positions, and responsibilities. Not the means. Values. If you make this world a better world than you got it and hand it over to the next generation, that is the greatest honor you can give me.
One day, it does not matter if my name is forgotten.
04
Continue the journey
But the values I believed in, the faith I instilled, the humanitarian journey I started, must continue to live.
That was my real success. My final request, dream big. Work honestly. Elevate the people. Change the world for the better. Then, you will not only have changed your life.
You will have changed the future of a generation. It is with that hope that I submit this report to you. With love, responsibility and unwavering faith in the future, J. J. Sozhendran is the founder of SOZHAA GROUP.
