Chapter 16
Industry, Government and Society: A Balance of the Three
Sustainable development only through integration

01
Industry, government, society
Who creates the development of a country; this is it the government? Businesses? Educational institutions? Social organizations? Or, people?
My answer is, all of them: one cannot be complete without the other. A government can make good policies. But to implement them, participation of industries is required.
Industries can create jobs. But for that, the educational institutes need to develop skilled human resources. Educational institutions can impart knowledge. But that knowledge must be aligned with the needs of society.
Social systems can create change. But they need the cooperation of government, industry and people.
This is the true circle of sustainable development.
02
Consistency is the balance of the three
In my view, the progress of a country cannot be made by the achievements of individual organizations; this formed by their cooperation. Government will show a direction. Industry will invest in that direction.
Education creates human resource. Society will accept that change. People will take it forward. When these five forces work together, progress is rapid, even, and lasting.
In my dream, a company should not only measure its profits. We must measure the jobs it has created, the communities it has improved, the people it has nurtured and the confidence it has created.
Similarly, the success of a government is not limited to the number of projects. It is in the change that the projects have made in people's lives. The success of an educational institution does not lie in the height of its buildings.
It is highly thought of by its students. The success of a social organization does not lie in the programs it performs. It's in changed lives.
In my view, competition is essential. But cooperation is more important than that. Competition can accelerate progress. Collaboration will make that progress sustainable.
03
Partnership philosophy
SOZHAA GROUP will work respectfully with governments in whatever field it operates in future: knowledge sharing with educational institutions. Participate in social development with community organizations.
Innovating with industries. Build trust with people. Because one company alone cannot change the world. But thousands of good partnerships can change the world.
In my dream, when a district grows, the government should be proud of it. Industries should be proud. Schools and colleges should be proud. Community organizations should also be proud.
People should be proud too. Only then, that growth becomes the growth of all. I believe that development is not the end of a race, but the result of a collective journey.
In that journey, everyone has a role to play. Every contribution has value. True leadership is the ability to connect those values. The trust that leadership creates is a nation's greatest asset.
